Benefit golf tournament
The Friends of the Plymouth Council on Aging is seeking golfers, sponsors and volunteers for its second annual golf tournament being held Friday, Oct. 2, at Southers Marsh Golf Club in Plymouth, to benefit the Plymouth Council on Aging. Registration and continental breakfast at 7 a.m. and tee-off at 8 a.m. Golfer’s fee is $125 per person (includes cart and lunch). Golfers, sponsors and volunteers, call Brenda Gellar at 508-927-3327.
Autumn Escape Bike Trek
American Lung Association’s Autumn Escape Bike Trek will take place Oct. 2-4. This is a 160-mile, three-day bike tour from Plymouth to Provincetown. The American Lung Association returns all the funds raised during the Autumn Escape Bike Trek to the community through education, advocacy, and programs to help improve lung health for all. The Autumn Escape is considered an “at your own pace” ride, and a two-day cycling option is also available for the weekend-only riders.
